The Royal Institute of Fine Arts (KKH) is a leading school of art and architecture. This is where the artists, theorists and architects work as professors and teachers. The university has about 200 students and about 60 employees.

The Royal Institute of Fine Arts has a five-year programme and a master’s programme in Fine arts, one-year courses at post-master level in art and architecture, and a research environment that includes doctoral education and research projects. KKH has an active international programme with lectures, exhibitions and publications. The Vice Chancellor of the Royal Institute of Art is Sara Arrhenius.
