Salami and Bornemark in conversation about experiential knowledge at Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus

From left: Jonna Bornemark and Minna Salami.

On March 31, from 18.00 to 20.00, a public conversation will take place between author Minna Salami and professor Jonna Bornemark at Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus. The conversation is about the knowledge that is embodied and rooted in lived experience. What role do art, poetry and beauty play in our understanding of knowledge? How can we relate to the European patriarchal social order in a way that is critical yet forward-looking?

The conversation is organized by Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus, TRANSPLACE, Stockholm University of the Arts and the courses Tusen kulturhus and Reconstructions at the Royal Institute of Art.

Admission is free, but pre-registration is required at anmalan@medborgarhuset.se.

Don’t miss out on applying for the course Reconstructions at the Royal Institute of Art no later than April 8. Read more about the course here.
