Recto Verso

The artist will be in conversation with Filiep Tacq, designer of the book, delving into the shared process of this work, which compiles Mendizabal’s works and writings of the last two decades. Tacq’s extensive and lauded experience as an artist’s book designer is visible in his collaborations with illustrious artists, such as Julie Ault, Rosa Barba, James Coleman, Moyra Davey, Marlene Dumas or Rosemarie Trockel, as well as the different books he made on the work of Marcel Broodthaers.

Recto Verso includes an essay by critic and researcher Kim West and a long-form interview by curator Beatriz Herráez, punctuated by questions from Filiep Tacq, Lisa Tan, Jon Mikel Euba, Antonio Menchen, Alex Valijani, Johanna Gustafsson Fürst, Itziar Okariz, Olatz Otalora, Antonia Majaca, Pablo Lafuente and Koenraad Dedobbeleer.

Copies of Recto Verso will be available for purchase and online here.

We look forward to seeing you there!
