“Join us for the global launch of the new performance video by C-U-T, a ‘Swedish K-pop’ boy band formed by artist Ming Wong with students at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm. In seeking to unpack the cultural ramifications of K-pop, the band also aims to diversify the genre by engaging with transnational and queer-friendly values that are often underreprented in the industry. For this last performance of the 11th Seoul Mediacity Biennale, curator Jiwon Lee and assistant curator Jiwon Yu will conduct a live interview with the band and present their new performance video.”
