On Saturday 30 May, visual artist and musician Joakim Forsgren presents an immersive sound installation in Lyssningsrummet following the release of his new album Autorhythm – Self Help Manual.
Developed on-site during the spring, the work takes the form of a spatial sound installation composed for the school’s 17.4 immersive audio system. Across 17 speakers and 4 subwoofers, the album is translated into an architectural listening environment where rhythm, repetition and synthetic textures unfold throughout the room.
The presentation is part of the ongoing public programme in Lyssningsrummet, Royal Institute of Art’s 17.4 immersive audio system. We invite you to take part.
An exhibition text by Tessa Praun will be available in the space.
