Charlotte Landelius
DET INRE HAVET

Landelius is interested in topics such as shame, love, relationships and memories. She explores these themes through various media including video-based installations, sculptures and paintings.

Central themes include the sea used as a metaphor and the exploration of emotions of opposite meanings expressing themselves physically in the same way. Just as the feeling of love can cause a racing heart or physical tingling, so can the feeling of fear. This duality of meaning can also be applied to the sculpture, Family relations ships which can be seen as a symbol of life, death, freedom as well as claustrophobia, security and fear.

Landelius worked with documentary films for over a decade, before starting her studies at Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm
