A manic display of the true love of a fan, ‘Trouble Looking for a Place to Happen’ is a practice of escapism as well as a manifestation of longing. Written between the sculptures, screenshots, merch and videoclips of the installation is a manifesto for the healthiest form of longing, namely; one that is impossible to realise. Coupled with the performance manuscript ‘Suicide Aesthetics’, the obsession explored also becomes a footnote to the interrogation of my theoretical concept and thought baby ‘suicide aesthetics’.
