Potential space

Exhibition: 17/12–19/12
Opening Hours: Wednesday–Friday 15.00–17.00

During the opening night, mom serves heeltaps from the rocking bar cabinet.

The exhibition Potential space borrows its title from Donald Winnicott’s concept of a transitional space where inner and outer reality meet. In-betweenness has played an important role in my work at Mejan. It has been expressed in representations of the horizon and, its opposite, the very near. Often with a reference to the foreground and background in landscape painting, as well as the middle ground as a segway between them. In Potential space a lot of the materal is borrowed from my closest relatives.
