Photo gallery: Architecture and Landscape

The exhibition ‘Architecture and Landscape’ at Galleri Mejan, the Royal Institute of Art’s gallery, features works from the postgraduate programmes in Conservation and Renovation at the Royal Institute of Art.

During the 2025/2026 academic year, students on these programmes have been working on issues relating to cultural heritage, sustainability and architectural design – at the intersection of history, the present and the future. Through models, installations, sketches and research, they explored how we can understand, manage and further develop our built environments.

The exhibition showcased different perspectives on the interplay between architecture and landscape; from the life cycle of materials and the resources of a site to the relationship between buildings and nature’s own structures and processes.

Two publications have also been produced by students from the programmes.
