The Royal Institute of Art strongly rejects Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We state – among many colleagues and fellow humans in Sweden and around the world – our greatest support to the Ukrainian people, artists and cultural workers.
We are following the war closely and are currently investigating how we can support those in need. Closing down Ukrainian universities will have serious consequences for both education and society at large. Our role as a school is to defend the freedom of education, democratic dialogue and critical thinking. All these values are threatened in today’s crisis situation.
