My work is influenced by an amalgamation of pop- and subculture, tragic stories of lust and loss as well as the exploration of social structures, norms and outliers thereof. I love to gamify, sugarcoat and dwell on things, and by painting I strive to amplify the everyday absurdities that are sometimes hidden in plain sight. Humor and playfulness are key to my visual storytelling, and like a court jester, I attempt to both entertain, please and challenge the onlooker at the same time.
