The show consists of two parts: One is an installation at Galleri Mejan, and the other one is a radio program that will air at the same time as the exhibition and beyond.

Silja Beck (b.1996, Wasserburg am Inn, Germany) investigates social processes as a performative space. In this context, conversation becomes an important medium, listening her main practice. Since 2018, she is part of the sound collective Dynamische Akustische Forschung (Dynamic Acoustic Research). Silja Beck studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg (Art Education), the Haute École des Arts du Rhin (Storytelling), and the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Site-Specific Art). She is currently studying an MA in Fine Arts at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm with Asier Mendizabal as a supervising professor. Recent projects include: State and Nature, Kunsthalle Baden-Baden (DE), Sonic Synchronicity, Lenbachhaus München (DE), The Sound of Distance, HKW Berlin (DE), Reader 3, Tiny Mutual Admiration Societies Vienna (AT), Collaborative Open Studio, Kuma Gallery Seoul (KR) and Dear Neighbors, daadgalerie Berlin (DE).
