Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June we [OPI Lab] open our doors to show you the space and projects related to OPI Lab’s case study at Lövholmen. Get to know us through our different approaches, research perspectives and proposals. Coffee, cake, drinks and food will be served. Welcome!

Friday 3rd [11 am – 10 pm]

Meet us and see our space, projects and various research, over informal conversations about our respective experimental interdisciplinary artistic methods and our reinterpretation of the area, its public life and the future development.

Introduction to OPI Lab by Professor Jonas Dahlberg

4.30 pm
Amy Boulton, Cassandra Macchiavelli and Tobias Westerlund present their project ‘The New Neighbourliness’ which is both prototype and proposal. The prototype appears on a grassy patch beside a busy intersection on Gröndalsvägen while the proposal is presented in the OPI studio.

5 pm
Sophia Persson, Tiril Hasselknippe, Åsa Bjerndell, Jenny Övergaard and Carole Douillard present ‘The Ramp, The Score and the Sociographer’ and how we can access and experience public space – and whose future is being built in Lövholmen?

5.30 pm
Hanan Benammar, Carl-Oskar Linné, Guiliana Kiersz and Sabrina Morreale present their work ‘Sol Sueco’. They use the spectacle of the production of a documentary film to find and display information about the neighborhood and developments not already fully disclosed publicly.

Presentation of ‘The Ramp, …’ by Åsa Bjerndell, Carole Douillard, Tiril Hasselknippe, Sophia Persson and Jenny Övergaard. 1 pm ‘Sol Sueco’ screening and reading by Hanan Benammar, Carl-Oskar Linné, Guiliana Kiersz and Sabrina Morreale.
