Basic entry requirements for the five-year programme
To be admitted to university-level studies, basic entry requirements is required. The Royal Institute of Art (Kungl. Konsthögskolan) makes some exceptions to the admissions requirements for the five-year programme if an applicant is deemed to meet the qualifying conditions for the education without otherwise having the typical requirements for admission—in other words, is eligible for exemption. To apply via route of exemption submit the documents you want us to look at with your application at universityadmissions.se in order to decide if you are qualified for dispensation. We especially look at language qualifications you will need to be able to follow the programme. You do not need to apply for dispensation. An evaluation of your documents will be done if you pass on in the admission based on your work samples. See special entry requirements below.
Special entry requirements
In addition to basic entry requirements, our courses require special entry requirements. Special entry requirements for our programmes in fine arts is based on an assessment of submitted work samples. Only those who are judged to achieve the level for special entry requirements in the current application round will be reviewed for basic entry requirements (in cases where a manual review needs to be done).
